Helping you adjust to your new mom life.

I was born smack dab in the middle of seven children to a loving and very competitive family. Growing up, my parents encouraged their children to make a difference with their lives in whatever avenue they chose. I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. From a young age, I found great fulfillment in helping others and being a calm, encouraging voice in the midst of challenging times.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science and Nursing degree at Denver College of Nursing and have been in the medical industry for over ten years. Although I have worked in most hospital departments, spanning from the ER to Elderly Assistance, post-partum care has always been my favorite.
Upon becoming a mother, I felt an all-consuming sense of completeness, but soon discovered being a mom came with so many challenges. Like many first-time moms, I was not only overwhelmed with the monumental responsibility of taking care of an innocent and tiny human, but also knew that my life would never be the same. Each day came with different obstacles, additional questions, and the constant need to learn and educate myself.
Every mom has a unique experience from birth to early parenthood, some more difficult than others. After watching my younger sister become a mom for the first time and assisting her, sometimes on a daily basis, with medical questions, baby concerns, and postpartum depression, I quickly realized she, like so many other new moms, needed assistance that our society was not providing.
I believe there is a lack of guidance and support given to first-time moms. We are sent home from the hospital with the overwhelming responsibility of caring for our precious little baby with only a day or so of teaching. We are expected to know what to do, how to act and how to adjust, basically overnight, to a monumental life change with very little follow-up from the medical industry.
Moms need help and I believe all new moms can thrive if they are only given the tools to succeed!
Every mom deserves the support they desperately need, that’s where I come in. I am here to be your, or your loved ones, mentor, coach and advocate. I will help guide first-time moms through those first tumultuous months of motherhood.
My goal is to let every new mom know they aren’t alone, and, with the right help, this amazing life change can be one of the most incredible experiences of your life!
